Poems are not simple.
Poems are not just the words you read across the page.
Poems are not just thoughts and ideas expressed with the help of a pen.
Poems are so much more.
They are intricate and beautiful.
They are metaphors, similies, personifications and puns of something real.
Poems, if looked at in all its beauty and intricateness,
reveal the authors deepest, innermost feelings.
The kind of feelings that are real and often times, never expressed day-to-day.
The kind of feelings no one would ever guess existed.
